Confirmed Vendor FAQ

When is the event?

The Tottenham Community Week Street Festival takes place Saturday, July 4 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Is the event rain or shine?

Yes. The festival operates rain or shine. Vendors must come prepared for heat, sun, rain, and wind.

Where do I check in?

Please check in with the Vendor Coordinator at the northeast corner of Queen and Dillane.

What time can vendors arrive to set up?

Vendors may begin set-up between 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM.  All vehicles must be off the road by 9:30 AM no exception.

When must my booth be ready?

All vendors must be fully operational by 10:00 AM.

Where do I park after unloading?

Vehicles must be moved immediately after unloading to a side street or the designated vendor parking area at the Tottenham Mall (55 Queen Street South). Please do not block driveways.

Are electrical outlets available?

No electrical outlets are provided. Vendors must supply their own power if needed and notify organizers if they use a generator.

Do you provide equipment?

No, vendors must provide all their own equipment, including:

  • Tables and chairs

  • Tents or trailers

  • Extension cords

  • Lighting (energy-efficient bulbs)

  • Tent weights and anchoring devices

Do tents need to be secured?

Yes. Tents must be properly covered, securely anchored, and heavily weighted to withstand wind and weather.

When can I start packing up?

Tear-down must not begin before 4:00 PM for safety reasons.

When must everything be removed?

All booths must be dismantled and removed by 5:30 PM.

Who is responsible for damage or loss?

Vendors participate at their own risk. Tottenham Community Program Association is not responsible for injury, loss, theft, or weather-related damage to vendor property.

What if the event is cancelled?

If the event cannot proceed due to circumstances beyond TCPA’s control (weather, emergency, etc.), vendors will receive a refund of rental fees minus a $15 administration fee.

Do I need insurance to participate as a vendor?

Yes. All vendors are required to provide proof of valid liability insurance prior to the event.

I don’t have insurance. Where can I get it?

If you do not currently carry liability insurance, one-day event insurance can be purchased through an approved event insurance provider. Please refer to your vendor confirmation email for details and instructions on how to obtain coverage.

What happens if I don’t provide proof of insurance?

Vendors who do not submit valid proof of insurance will not be permitted to operate their booth or sell products at the event.

Our goal is to provide a fun, family friendly week that celebrates the rich history and community spirit of Tottenham.
